February 2021 Market Update

So much news to share ...

The Year of the Ox begins February 12th. Chinese New Year or Spring Festival celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. The first day of Chinese New Year begins on the new moon that appears between January 21 and February 20 every year. The Chinese New Year is associated with several customs. The evening preceding New Year's Day is frequently regarded as an occasion for Chinese families to gather for the annual reunion dinner. Another custom is the decoration of windows and doors with red paper-cuts and couplets that represent good fortune or happiness, wealth, and longevity. We are coming into the Year of the Ox, those born in the Year of the Ox are known for honesty, dependability, strength, and determination. May your year be filled with good health, happiness, and great prosperity.

The real estate market has quickly become a fast-paced spring market even though it is still winter. All market areas are experiencing balanced or sellers' market conditions. If you are thinking of selling, now is a good time! When selling in a sellers' market, most experienced realtors are able to get you a good selling price. When 'bidding wars' or competing offers are the norm, it is extremely important to have realtors who are experienced, honest, detail-oriented and calm in a fast-paced market to protect your best interests. Keeping clear communication with the client should be the top priority. These are skills Balance Group has honed well. If you are thinking of buying to take advantage of the low interest rates, please consult with us to ensure we can help you get organized to make your best offer. There is an art to drafting and presenting a winning offer in a competitive sellers' market and Balance Group has the experience to help you.

Lastly, a huge thank you to all our lovely clients and friends for helping us achieve the Award of Excellence for 2020! We truly feel very grateful!

Stay safe,
